Job Simulations

Job Simulation is the heart of Forage, it provides students with real-world work experiences. My design goal is to help students choose the right Job Simulation, understand its value, and be immersed throughout the Job Sim experience.

Job Simulation Landing Page Redesign

To ensure students find the right Job Simulation for their needs, I've redesigned the Job Sim Landing page focusing on visual hierarchy and information architecture. Resulted in a 12% increase in Job Sim completion rate.

Workplace Scenario Design

Researched and Designed the Job Simulation Workplace Scenario, to create an immersive experience with background context and simulated team. Increasing program quality and completion rate by 16%.

Job Preparation

As there are more job preparation offerings for students, we needed more dedicated space. I designed and transformed the Forage Dashboard Experience. With the new dashboard, students can easily track the progress of learning, and see recommended next steps for job preparations.

Progression Timeline

With clear visual guidance of the vertical learning timeline, users can easily track learning progress and are encouraged to take recommended actions and prepare for the job.

The new dashboard design has been tested to ensure the overall user experience on Forage.

Horizontal Tab Navigation

The New Dashboard structure is designed with scalability in mind. The horizontal tab navigation allows Forage to include more features in the future it is mobile-friendly.

Dashboard Sitemap

I created a detailed site map for the new dashboard to ensure a well-organized structure and seamless user flow. This also increased the efficiency of the engineering implementation process by outlining how different pages and features were interconnected.

Application Success

The Driving Applications initiative connects our students directly with opportunities from large companies (our customers). By leveraging their Job Simulation experience and achievements, students can find opportunities and land their desired jobs through Forage.

Surfacing Job Opportunities

To ensure students’ awareness of the opportunities on Forage post-enrollment and post-completion, I designed a Message Center to surface connected jobs for students to take immediate action.

To ensure students’ awareness of the opportunities on Forage pre-sign up and pre-enrollment, job banners, and cards are added to the Job Simulation landing page.
